This course develops practical knowledge and skills to manage intermediate first aid response safely in the workplace, with emphasis on hazard identification and risk control.
Course Objectives
• Identify common hazards and associated risks.
• Apply the hierarchy of controls.
• Use safe work procedures and PPE correctly.
• Respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.
• Report hazards and incidents accurately.
Requirements
- Learners seeking access to this skills programme must be in possession of Basic Emergency First Aid NQF Level 2 or equivalent.
